The Binghamton Bearcats could not carry over any momentum from their 58-53 win over host New Mexico on Friday night at the University of New Mexico Thanksgiving Invitational.  Arkansas crushed the Bearcats 72-23 in the tournament's championship game played tonight at "The Pit".

The Razorbacks jumped out to a 12-0 lead early in the first half and never looked back.  They led 35-9 at the end of the first half.  Binghamton shot just 14 per cent from the floor in the first half and just 17 per cent in the game.

The Bearcats could not stop Arkansas as the Razorbacks remain unbeaten raising their record to 8-0.  The Bearcats are now 1-5.  No Binghamton player reached double figures in the game.  Gintare Surdokatie notched a career-high eight points for BU.

Binghamton is flying back overnight from Albuquerque.  Next up for BU is a trip to Cornell to face the Big Red Wednesday, December fourth at 7 PM (6:45 airtime on ESPN 1360 WYOS).
