Binghamton Bearcats Look to Bounce Black Bears

The Binghamton Bearcats take a page out of Baseball Hall of Famer Ernie Banks quote book today..."let's play two" as the men's and women's basketball teams are in action.

The women's team hosts the Vermont Catamounts at noon followed by the men's team entertaining the Maine Black Bears at about 2:15 PM.

The BU men and Black Bears have both been struggling this season.  The Bearcats are 1-16 while Maine is 1-13. Both teams are 0-2 in America East play.

In Binghamton's last outing at Hartford on Wednesday Romello Walker had his finest outing as a Bearcat hitting for 17 points while sophomore guard Marlon Beck notched a season high 16 points.

Maine dropped a 68-54 decision to Vermont on Wednesday. Forward Till Gloger leads the Black Bears offensively with and 11.3 points per game average.  Guard Shaun Lawton is right behind him scoring 10.9 points per contest.
