The Binghamton Bearcats are in Orono, Maine tomorrow for a 2 PM (1:50 on News Radio 1290 WNBF) contest with the Maine Black Bears.  The Bearcats are 0-5 in conference play while the Black Bears are 2-2.

Point-guard Jimmy Gray practiced today and showed no ill effects of an upper body injury suffered late in the game at Vermont.  Gray is averaging 11.1 points per game.  Jordan Reed and Roland Brown each scored 10 points vs Vermont on Wednesday.  Reed continues to be among the America East leaders in points per game and rebounds per game ( 15.4 and 9.1).

The Black Bears are led in scoring by sophomore guard Justin Edwards who leads the conference in points per game average with 17.5.  One of the top forwards in America East is also a key at both ends of the court for Maine...Alasdair Fraser.  Fraser averages 13.8 points per contest and grabs 8.8 rebounds per game.

Tomorrow marks the third consecutive road game for the Bearcats and is their longest trip of the season.  Rayner Moquette is not on the trip and is concentrating on academics taking a winter session class at BU.  The Bearcats return home and host New Hampshire next Saturday at 7 PM at the Events Center.  The BU women play in Maine Sunday in a scheduled 2 PM start.  Their next home game is also on Saturday the 26th vs New Hampshire at 4 PM.
