Two teams looking to find a way to win will square off tonight at the Events Center when the Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team hosts the UMBC Retrievers at 7 PM (airtime at 6:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  The Bearcats are 1-6 in America East and the Retrievers come in with a 2-5 mark in conference play.

BU is coming off its toughest stretch of the season with three of the past four games on the road and all against the top teams in America East.  In the Bearcats last game Vermont rolled to a 72-39 over Binghamton.  Yosef Yacob was the only Bearcat to score in double figures with ten points.

In the Retrievers last game they got 15 points each from guards Bryan Harris and Rodney Elliott and defeated Hartford 60-58.  UMBC has not registered a road win this season.  The Retrievers are 0-11 on the road.

Tonight's game marks the 10th Anniversary of the Events Center.  The game has special significance tonight as part of the anniversary celebration. In staff voting Binghamton's victory over UMBC on March 14, 12009 to win the America East Championship was the top and most memorable event to be held at the Events Center. In the Bearcats first ever game at the Events Center on January 31, 2004 BU defeated Hartford 75-68.
