The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team hosts\ed the Stony Brook Seawolves January 25 at the Events Center.  This rivalry goes back to Division III days and will be the 60th overall meeting between the two teams.

Stony Brook has been among the top teams in America East over the past several years.  The Seawolves come into Sunday's game with a conference record of 4-2 and tied with Hartford for third place.  Binghamton is 1-5 and tied for seventh place with UMBC in America East.

Stony Brook is led by America East's best big-man, Jameel Warney.  Warney is averaging 15.9 points per game and 11.3 rebounds.  Warney has paced the Seawolves in scoring in 11 games and has been their leading rebounder in 15 games.

The Bearcats leading active scorer is Willie Rodriguez who is averaging10.4 points per game.  Romello Walker is second in points per game averaging 8.4. Forward Dusan Perovic leads all Binghamton scorers with an 11.5 points per contest average.  However, he had surgery to repair a knee injury on Thursday and is out for the remainder of the season.
