The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team hosts the Maine Black Bears at 2 PM today(1:50 airtime on News Radio 1290 WNBF) at the Events Center.  The Bearcats are 1-9 in America East while the Black Bears are 3-7.  In a previous meeting in Maine on January 5th the Black Bears topped BU 82-66.  Overall in the series Maine Leads Binghamton 14-13.

Jordan Reed is coming off a dynamite game versus Stony Brook.  Reed led all scorers with 23 points and 15 rebounds in Tuesday's loss to Stony Brook.  Reed is averaging over 14 points per game to pace all Binghamton scorers.  Maine's Xavier Pollard is the top offensive player in America East averaging 15.4 points per game. He also ranks first in steals with 2.0 per outing and second in assists with an average of 4.5 per game.

The Bearcats are missing forward Nick Madray who may be done for the rest of the season.  He has missed the last two games with a hip injury.  Following today's game the Bearcats travel to Durham to face the New Hampshire Wildcats in a 7 PM game on Wednesday.  The next Binghamton home game is Wednesday, February 19th versus the Albany Great Danes.
