Binghamton University will welcome back thousands of alumni and friends this weekend with its annual Homecoming Weekend celebration.  There will be a number of events involving Binghamton Bearcats athletics as part of the weekend's festivities.

     On Friday night the Bearcats volleyball team hosts Stony Brook in an America East Conference battle at West Gym.  At 9 PM the focus will shift to the Events Center for Late Night Madness when the men's and women's basketball teams will be introduced.  Doors open at 8:30 PM.

     On Saturday seven individuals will be inducted into the Binghamton University Athletic Hall of Fame. The ceremonies take place during a noon luncheon at the Events Center.  The new inductees will bring the total number of Hall of Fame members to 85.  Included in this years honorees is Dr. Doulas Kerr who has served as volunteer team physician for Bearcats athletics for 28 years. 

     Saturday night the BU men's soccer team hosts America East rival Vermont at 7 PM at the Bearcats Sports Complex.  Over 2000 fans are expected and the match will be televised by Time Warner Sports.   Sunday at 1 PM the  BU women's soccer team hosts Boston University also at the Bearcats Sports Complex.  Numerous other events are being held throughout the weekend involving Binghamton athletics including lacrosse, soccer and softball alumni games.
