The Binghamton Bearcats gave the Albany Great Danes all they could handle tonight at SEFCU Arena on the campus of the University at Albany.  The Great Danes ended up winning 66-60 to put their overall record at 10-9 and up their conference slate to 4-2.  Binghamton drops to 4-14 overall and 1-4 in America East action.

BU had a chance to win the game in the closing ten seconds.  With Albany leading by two points Binghamton sharp-shooter Nick Madray missed a three-point bid and Bearcat forward Roland Brown fouled Albany's John Puk in a battle for the rebound.  Puk converted both free throws and iced the game for the Great Danes.

Albany's Peter Hooley led all scorers with 17 points.  BU had two players who hit for 16 points each.  Madray and Marlon Beck each notched 16.  Yosef Yacob scored 12 points and Karon Waller added ten more.

The Bearcats return home to host the Hartford Hawks on Thursday night at 7 (6:45 airtime on News Radio 1290 WNBF.  Binghamton closes out a busy week with a visit to Burlington to face the Vermont Catamounts at 7 PM Sunday.
