The Binghamton Bearcats face two rough road tests before getting a break for Christmas.  Coach Tommy Dempsey and his Bearcats may be hoping Santa comes early and delivers them a road win.

Tomorrow the Bearcats travel to Smithfield, Rhode Island to meet the Bryant Bulldogs at 1 PM (WNBF airtime at 12:50).  Binghamton has met Bryant on the hardwood twice before.  Bryant won two previous meetings back in the 2000-2001 season .  This is the first season Bryant is participating as a fully-eligible Divsion I program after transitioning from Division II.

Heading into tomorrow's game the Bearcats are 2-7 and have lost three games in a row.  Bryant is 4-3.  The Bulldogs own a win over ACC member Boston College last month and had won four straight games prior to Wednesday night's 64-62 loss to Yale.

Binghamton is led by freshmen sensation Jordan Reed who leads America East in scoring averaging 18.7 points per game.  Reed also leads the conference in rebounding with a 10.3 per game average.  Reed has received national notice after being listed on CBSSports.com's weekly "Freshman of the Year" rankings.

Following tomorrow's game BU travels to Ann Arbor to meet the Michigan Wolverines Tuesday night at 7 PM (650 PM on WNBF).  Currently the Wolverines are undefeated and ranked 3rd in the nation. Following that game the Bearcats are idle until Friday, December 28 when they travel to Hamilton, NY to meet the Colgate Raiders.
