Standout Binghamton University freshman point guard Jasmine Sina is this week's America East Rookie of the Week.  It is the second week in a row that she has earned the honor and the third time she has garnered the award,
Sina scored 19 points, picked-up three assists and snared five rebounds in the Bearcats' 65-64 win over UMass Lowell on Saturday.  She helped key Binghamton's come-from-behind victory including three clutch free throw makes after being knocked to the floor attempting a three-point shot.

Heading into tomorrow night's road game at Hartford, Sina ranks sixth in America East scoring averaging 15.2 points per game.  She and fellow freshman Imani Watkins have each been named conference Rookie of the Week three times.

Following tomorrow night's road contest at 7 in Hartford (air at 6:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF) the Bearcats return to the Events Center to host Vermont Saturday at 12 noon.
