Basketball fans at Vestal High School and Binghamton University watched Bess Greenberg do almost anything she wanted to do on the basketball court.  Greenberg graduated from BU in 2001 and was elected for induction into the University's Athletic Hall of Fame in 2008.  One of the finest athletes in the school's history she is BU's all-time leading women's basketball scorer with 2,024 points.  She was named a two-time NCAA Division II All-American and a three-time Academic All-American.  She was named the Binghamton University Female Athlete of the Year twice and scored 20 or more points in over 50 games and 30 or more points in eight games.

Following her Binghamton University career Bess played professionally in Denmark and  Israel.  She is an accomplished photographer who won a scholarship to the International Center of Photography in New York and an internship at the New York Times.

Along with all of those things she is an accomplished musician who entertained alumni and other visitors at Saturday's Homecoming Tailgate Party.  On the bass fiddle she and her band were a highlight of the homecoming festivities.
