Bob Joseph/WNBF News

A former Binghamton University wrestler has died in an accident during a training exercise with the U.S. Navy SEALS.  23 year old Jonathan Kaloust of Massapequa died May 15th when the Humvee in which he was riding overturned. Seven others in the vehicle suffered minor injuries.

The accident is under investigation. The military is not releasing many details about the incident given the sensitive nature of the training. B.U. officials said the crash happened at Fort Knox, Kentucky.

Kaloust graduated from B.U. in 2010 with a degree in political science.  He joined the Navy in 2011 and was a Navy SEAL and Special Warfare Operator Third Class. Kaloust was stationed at Fort Story, Virginia.
