Construction of the ACA Memorial Park in Binghamton is moving forward.

Preparation at the site on the southeast corner of the intersection of Front and Clinton streets started three weeks ago.

Some concrete supports are in place where the small city-owned green space is being transformed.

The park will be dedicated to the memory of the thirteen people who died in a shooting incident at the American Civic Association Building on Front Street on April 3, 2009.

The memorial park is expected to be completed in December.
