Binghamton 2011 Flood Cat Needs New Home

The B.C. Humane Society's Meowy Monday feature this week is Dedra the cat who is described by staff as a very loving girl. The minute you get home from work and walk in that door, she will be right there to greet you with lots of purring.

She was left behind by her family when her home was flooded in the fall of 2011 and lived under the abandoned home until this spring, when she was brought to The Humane Society with her newborn kittens.

The little ones have all since been adopted, but Dedra remains waiting for a home willing to adopt an adult cat.

Dedra is anxious to meet her new family at the shelter at 2 Jackson Street, Binghamton.
