Bicyclist Killed in Collision in the Town of Walton

A bicyclist is dead after being hit by a car August 31 in the Town of Walton.

Delaware County Sheriff’s officials say 21 year old Aaron Tubbs of Treadwell was riding north on State Highway 10 at around 7:30 p.m. when he was hit by the car driven by a 66 year old Hamden woman.

Deputies say neither the driver of the car nor her passenger was injured.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

Sheriff's Deputies and Investigators were assisted by members of the New York City Department of Environmental Protection Police, New York State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit, Walton Fire Personnel and Emergency Medical Services Crews.
