Bicyclist Critical Following Collision with Pickup Truck

Authorities are releasing more information in connection with a serious collision involving a bicycle and a pickup truck on New York State Route 41 in Homer on March 1.

Cortland County Sheriff’s officials say 20 year old bicyclist Kory Platt of Homer was last listed in critical condition.

Platt and a pickup truck driven by 23 year old Peter Knapp of Ithaca collided at 4:55 p.m. near Limerilick Lane as both were traveling south on the road.
