Bernhard Langer Returns

The 2014 Dick's Sporting Goods Open Champion Bernhard Langer will return to defend his title in this August's tournament. Langer returned to the En Joie Golf Club today to announce his return and to reflect on last year's victory.  Along with his Dick's Open victory Langer won four other tournaments last season.  He finished second on four occasions and notched 18 Top-10 finishes.  All this earned him the Charles Schwab Cup Championship, symbolic of the best golfer on the Champion's Tour.

This year his best success has been a second place at the Greater Gwinnett Championship and  five Top-10 finishes.  With 23 wins in his Championship Tour career Langer is fifth on the all-time Champions Tour victory list.

This year's Dick's Sporting Goods Open Week is scheduled for August 24-30th.  The actual tournament is set for August 28th - 30th.
