Belt Buckle Knife Confiscated at Delaware Co. Jail

A Delhi man is accused of trying to sneak a knife made out of a belt buckle into the Delaware County Jail.

Authorities say they found the shank in 26 year old Brayan Thompson’s possession while they were conducting a new inmate search.

Thompson was being booked on a burglary charge.

He’s now also charged with felony promoting prison contraband.

Bail was set at $2,000 for the new charge.
