Bearcats Visit VCU

The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team is in Richmond, Virginia for a night game against Virginia Commonwealth University at 7:00 PM (air at 6:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  The Rams are members of the Atlantic 10 Conference after a long run in the Colonial Athletic Association.

The Bearcats rode the hot shooting of J.C.Show to defeat the Central Connecticut State Blue Devils 72-70 on Wednesday night at the Events Center.  Bobby Ahearn scored 19 points, a career high for him.

One question mark for tonight's game will be the status of Willie Rodriguez.  He has been nursing a hamstring injury and in his first game competition this season he scored two points in just nine minutes of action.  Rodriguez is a Preseason America East First Team All-Conference selection and averaged 15 points per game last year.
