The Binghamton Bearcats men's soccer team gave the home crowd plenty to cheer about on Saturday afternoon at the Bearcats Sports Complex when they defeated 23rd-ranked New Hampshire.  The Bearcats played before a Family Weekend announced crowd of 3,265 which is the largest crowd ever at the Bearcats Sports Complex.

It was Binghamton's first-ever home win over a nationally-ranked Division I men's soccer team.  Overall, since the Bearcats have played at the Division I level, they have defeated six opponents who were ranked in the Top-25 at the time.  It also puts Binghamton's America East record at 2-0-0.  They defeated Hartford at BU a week earlier.

Noah Luescher and Kevin Flesh each scored goals in the victory.  Chris Shutler earned the win in goal for the Bearcats.

Then Sunday afternoon the BU women topped the Maine Black Bears 1-0 to up their America East record to 2-1.  Genna Mochitti scored the only goal of the game to earn the Binghamton victory.  Haylee Poltorak earned the win in goal as she notched her fourth shutout so far this season.
