It was a good day on the hardwood for both Binghamton University basketball teams on Friday. The women rolled by Georgian Court 74-53.  The men followed by crushing Marywood 101 -54.

In the first game of the doubleheader the Bearcats held a 32-26 lead at the end of the first half but dominated play in the second 20 minutes and outscored their opponents handily to win going away.

The win puts BU's record at 5-7.  Alyssa James led the attack with 16 points and Imani Watkins hit for 15 tallies.  Kai Moon also had a big game with nine points, seven rebounds and seven assists.

The BU women have one more non-conference game remaining.  They host Cornell at 2 PM on Sunday.  Air is set for 1:45 PM for the New Year's Day contest on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
