In a back and forth game against Navy at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut the Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team dropped a 70-68 decision.  Navy led 32-31 at the half.  BU battled back in the early going of the second half and took a lead of 11 points before Navy fought back,

Sparked by the hot shooting of  guard Brandon Venturini, who topped all scorers with 26 points, the  Midshipmen tied the game and then took the lead back in the closing 30 seconds of the contest.  Following a Binghamton missed shot and a rebound controlled by Navy with six seconds left in the game it looked over for BU.  But an errant Navy pass gave Binghamton one final chance.

Sophomore guard Yosef Yacob put up a long three-point shot that would have won the game at the buzzer,  But the shot hit the glass and bounced off the rim and Navy clinched the victory.

Binghamton was paced in scoring by Willie Rodriguez with 15 points.  Also scoring in double figures were Dusan Perovic and Yosef Yacob with 12 points each and Nick Madray with 10 points.

With the win Navy moves to 1-4 and Binghamton is now also 1-4. The Bearcats travel to Army November 25.  Tip-off is 7:30 and WNBF airtime is set for 7:15 PM.
