The Binghamton Bearcats completed a sweep of their three-game series against the Hartford Hawks at the Bearcats Sports Complex on Saturday afternoon.  The Bearcats rolled to a 12-2 victory on senior day.

With Bu's win the Bearcats up their overall record to 16-23 and finish the regular season at 9-9 in America East competition.  Hartford closes with a 10-32 slate and 0-18 in the conference.

Rozlyn Price upped her record to 7-9 in earning the victory on the mound for the Bearcats.  Binghamton racked up a six-run first inning that put the Hawks in a deep hole from which they could not recover.

The Bearcats host the America East Tournament this week.  Competition begins in the double-elimination tournament on Wednesday.   The Bearcats open play against the Maine Black Bears at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday.  Binghamton is the 5th seed while the Black Bears have earned the 4th seed for tournament play.

The America East tournament continues into the weekend.  All games are scheduled to be played at the Bearcats Sports Complex.
