Bearcats Softball Derailed By Stony Brook

The Stony Brook Seawolves rocked the Binghamton Bearcats in an America East Championship Tournament Winner's Bracket game on Long Island May 8.  The Seawolves used two big innings late in the game to blow open the contest and win 16-3.  Stony Brook was up 4-1 after four innings but scored five runs in the fifth inning and seven more in the sixth inning to move to 2-0 in the tournament.  Binghamton drops to 1-1 in the double elimination format.

All three Bearcat runs came via home runs.  Sydney Harbaugh hit her second home run of the tournament.  Lisa Cadogan and Jessica Rutherford also hit home runs for BU.
