The Binghamton University Bearcats men's soccer team shutout the Manhattan Jaspers last night 1-0 to up their record to 2-1-0.  Manhattan falls to 0-3-0.

Freshman midfielder Kristian Piippo scored the only goal of the game at the 69 minute mark.  Junior Logan Roberts and senior Tucker Sandercock assisted on the tally.  The Bearcats outshot Manhattan 9-5 in the game.

Junior goalkeeper Robert Moewes recorded a pair of saves. BU's defense has been stellar.  They have now gone 227 minutes without allowing a goal.  In wins against Ohio State and Manhattan the Bearcats have surrendered just 11 shots.

The Bearcats are in action Wednesday night at 7:00 PM when they host St. Peter's College.  Bearcats' Head Coach Paul Marco previews the match Wednesday morning at 8:35 with Roger Neel on WNBF First News.
