Bearcats Soccer in Albany

The Binghamton Bearcats men's soccer team is in Albany tonight (Wednesday) to meet the Great Danes and bring to a close the America East regular season schedule.  Both teams have clinched post-season America East playoff berths.  The Bearcats are 7-4-6 overall and 1-2-3 in conference play.  The Great Danes have a 9-5-2 overall slate and are 3-2-1 in America East.

Binghamton could finish in fifth or sixth place in the conference and the Bearcats first round playoff opponents will be decided once all regular season contests conclude.  Whatever the finish BU will play on the road on Saturday in a quarterfinal game.

The Bearcats lead the all-time series versus the Great Danes with a record of 9-5-3.  Binghamton defeated Albany 1-0 last season in an America East semifinal game.  That avenged a regular season Albany 3-1 win over BU.
