The Binghamton Bearcats men's soccer team topped Stony Brook 3-2 in double overtime on Long island on November 7.  Graduate student midfielder Pascal Trappe notched the deciding marker 5:02 into the second overtime session.  The win puts Binghamton's record at 9-7-2 and enables the Bearcats to advanced to an America East semifinal game at Albany November 11.

With the win the Bearcats have advanced to the conference semifinals for the second straight season.  It was the third game-winning goal for Trappe this season.  Overall, he has scored six goals.Alex Varkatzas from Elmira Free Academy picked up a pair of assists for BU in the win.

Zach Galluzzo, who scored a goal in Saturday's win was named first-team all-conference along with Trappe in awards announced on November 6.  The two-goal deficit is the biggest deficit the Bearcats have had to overcome in their Division I playoff history.
