The Binghamton Bearcats rolled to a 113-65 romp over the Elmira College Soaring Eagles at the Events Center on Saturday afternoon.  The win gives Binghamton a 9-6 non-conference record while Elmira falls to 2-7.

The Bearcats were up by a 53-37 score at the half and turned the offense into high gear blowing past Elmira defenders for a 60-28 edge in the second half.  The Bearcats hit 66 percent of their shots and went 11-21 from three-point range for 52 percent.  Overall in the second half the Bearcats went 21-28 for for a blistering 75 percent.

Binghamton had four players in double figure led by 19 from Willie Rodriguez who made nine of 11 shots.  Right behind him was Bobby Ahearn with 16 points.  Oneonta's Albert Odero played in his second game as a Bearcat  and scored 13 points.  Odero electrified the crowd with a pair of spectacular dunks.  Everson Davis finished with 11 points including a perfect 4-4 at the foul line.

The Bearcats open their America East schedule next Saturday at 1 PM when they host the Maine Black Bears at 1 PM. Binghamton will then head on the road for games at New Hampshire and Hartford.
