The Binghamton Bearcats' Willie Rodriguez has been named an America East Preseason All-Conference selection in voting by the conference's coaches. Coaches were not permitted to vote for their own players.  Rodriguez was a member of the America East All-Rookie Team in 2015.  Last year he earned Third-Team All-Conference honors when he averaged 15.1 points per game and 6.7 rebounds per contest.

Joining Rodriguez on the America East Preseason All-Conference team are: Sophomore Joe Cremo from the Albany Great Danes, Junior Jairus Lyles from UMBC, Junior Jahad Thomas from UMass Lowell, Junior Tanner Leissner from New Hampshire and Junior Trae Bell-Haynes from Vermont.
