Bearcats Rock and Roll

The Binghamton Bearcats crushed Cedar Crest November 21 at the Events Center by a final score of 74-18.  It was 37-7 at the half.  Cedar Crest is a Division III program from Allentown, Pa. and competes in the Colonial States Athletic Conference.  The game was originally scheduled to be an early exhibition contest but moved to the regular schedule when another opponent cancelled on BU's slate.

Coach Linda Cimino got all of her players plenty of playing time.  Alyssa James owned the paint.  In 23 minutes of action she scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.  Imani Watkins and Kim Albrecht each scored 10 points for Binghamton.

The Bearcats shot 57 percent from the floor and had a big rebounding advantage at 45 to 19.  Binghamton's next outing is at Canisius on November 25 7:00 p.m. (air at 6:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).
