The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team will need their "A" game tonight as they step into the big time with a game against the St. John's RedStorm at the Carnesecca Arena in Queens, NY.  It is the first time the two schools will meet on the basketball court.

Binghamton practiced this morning in preparation for tonight's game.  America East Preseason First Team All-Conference selection Willie Rodriguez remains sidelined indefinitely with a leg injury.  He was absent from the lineup on Friday night when the Bearcats opened their season at the Events Center with a 68-62 victory over Cornell.

The RedStorm won their opener defeating Bethune- Cookman 100-53.  Four players scored in double figures for St. John's in the opening night decision.

This is the second season for St. John's Hall of Famer Chris Mullin as his alma mater's head coach.  Tonight's contest can be heard on News Radio 1290 WNBF beginning at 6:15 PM with tipoff at 6:30 PM.
