The Binghamton Bearcats play a basketball doubleheader Saturday at home at the Events Center.  Beginning at noon Linda Cimino's team meets Columbia University.

Then 30 minutes following the conclusion of that game the men host Loyola, Md.

In the women's game Imani Watkins continues to be the talk of America East.  She is averaging 22.8 points per game which is seventh best in the nation.  Watkins leads all scorers in America East.  She has scored 20 or more points in a game in six consecutive games....a new Binghamton University record. The Bearcats are 3-5. Columbia is 6-2 and a member of the Ivy League. Columbia holds a 4-1 edge in the series.

In the second game the BU men host the Greyhounds from Loyola, Maryland.  Loyola is 4-5 while Binghamton is 7-4 and winners of the last three games.

The teams have met on tweo previous occasions with Loyola winning both times.  Fans can hear both games on News Radio 1290 WNBF and wnbf.com  Coverage begins at 11:45 AM with the pre-game show.
