The Binghamton Bearcats open the men's basketball season tonight, November 13, in Olean when they face the Bonnies from St. Bonaventure.  After exhibition wins for both teams it is the start of Division I play tonight.

The Bearcats held a late morning practice at the Reilly Center today.  Binghamton fans will notice two different characteristics with this year's squad. First is depth.  Coach Tommy Dempsey and his staff will be able to play two entirely separate units and not lose a beat.  Secondly, early sessions indicate this team can fly.  For the first time in Dempsey's four seasons his team can press and run more effectively than Binghamton teams have been able to do since the the America East Championship era.

Tonight is the first of two games this weekend for the Bearcats.  Binghamton returns home to host Army on Sunday at 2:00 PM.  Tonight's game can be heard on News Radio 1290 WNBF beginning at 7:45 PM.
