Both Binghamton University basketball teams will face Stony Brook tonight.  The BU women are at the Events Center for a 7 PM contest with the Seawolves (air at 650 on ESPN 1360 AM WYOS).  The men play on Long Island at Pritchard Gymnasium at 7 (650 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).

Binghamton heads into tonight's game at BU with a record of 1-2 in America East while Stony Brook is 1-1.  The Seawolves are 10-5 overall while the Bearcats are 4-12.  At Stony Brook the men battle for the 28th time at the Division I level.  BU holds a 15-12 edge but the Seawolves have won the last seven meetings.  Overall the series dates back to Division III days  starting in 1962 and Stony Brook has the advantage 32-25.

It's the second game of three in a row and four out of five at home for the BU women.  They remain home to host Albany on Monday night.  The Bearcats men's team travels to Albany on Monday evening.

Two of the conference's premier players square off tonight.  Jordan Reed leads Binghamton scorers averaging 15.9 points per game.  Jameel Warney puts up 15.9 points per game for the Seawolves,  Both are sophomores and coming off of stellar rookie campaigns.  The Bearcats also feature point guard Yosef Yacob who is this week's America East Rookie of the Week after netting 22 points versus UMass Lowell on Saturday.
