The Binghamton Bearcats baseball team meets national powerhouse Texas A & M Friday night in the NCAA Divsion I Regionals.  The Aggies are ranked either first or second in several national baseball rankings.  Texas A & M is the Regional host and a number-one seed.  The Aggies earned their position by defeating Florida in the SEC Championship.  They carry a record of 45-14 into Friday's duel.

The Barcats captured both the America East Regular Season and Playoff Championships and bring a record of 30-23 into this weekend.  The Bearcats are a fourth-seed.  The two other teams competing in the Regional are second-seeded Minnesota and third-seeded Wake Forest.

Binghamton teams have played in Texas already this season.  They went 1-4 against Houston Baptist University in late February.  This will be the first meeting between the Bearcats and Aggies in baseball.  Game time tomorrow night is 9:00 PM in College Station, Texas.
