Ben Luber, Associate Head Coach of the Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team, has resigned to return to Rider University as an assistant coach.  Luber was an assistant coach at Rider under Tommy Dempsey.  Luber left Rider to join Dempsey when he took over the head basketball duties at Binghamton. After one season as an assistant Luber was named the Associate Head Coach of the Bearcats in the 2013-14 season. Luber joins the staff of Kevin Baggett who is Rider's current head coach.

Luber was a starting point guard and two-time captain of the Penn State Nittany Lions basketball team and graduated in 2007.  He played professionally in both Israel and Iceland.  During his stay in Binghamton Luber worked closely with the Bearcats' back court and helped in the development of guards like Marlon Beck, Yosef Yacob, Everson Davis and Timmy Rose.

Luber is widely regarded as a tireless worker and recruiter.  Popular with players and fans, Luber joins the Rider Broncs who went 8-12 in MAAC play last season and 13-20 overall.
