The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team returns home tomorrow (Wednesday) night at 7:00 PM to host the Mansfield State University Mountaineers at the Events Center.  The Bearcats are back from a four-game Florida road trip which saw them win two and lose two games.  Overall BU is now 4-4.

The Mountaineers are 3-2 and are coming off of a 73-70 victory over Division II power California University of Pa.  and also own a win over Division I foe Duquesne.  The Bearcats and Mountaineers last met in 2014 in an exhibition game that saw BU win 66-60.

The Bearcats are paced by J.C.Show who is averaging 15.8 points per game.  Bobby Ahearn is also averaging in double figures with 10.4 points per contest.

Mansfield is led by forward Matt Tamanosky who is averaging 16.2 points per outing. He was recently named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference East Player of the Week.

They have two other players right behind him.  Malik Carter is averaging 14.2 points per game while Jahyde Gardiner is scoring at a 14.0 points per game clip.

The game is a "Toys for Tots" contest with fans invited to bring new toys to give to needy children in the area for the Christmas holiday.  The game will be broadcast on News Radio 1290 WNBF with air at 6:45 PM.
