Bearcats Host Hartford Hawks in Women’s Basketball

The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team hosted the Hartford Hawks at the Events Center. Hartford was 6-3 in America East competition while the Bearcats were 2-7.

In Binghamton's last game at UMass Lowell on Sunday the River Hawks posted a 66-49 win over the Bearcats.  Jasmine Sina and Kim Albrecht each scored 14 points for BU.

In Hartford's last outing the Hawks topped Vermont 60-49.  Deanna Mayza paced the Hawks with 23 points.  Cherrle Moore added one dozen points for the winners.

In the all-time series Hartford has a 23-8 advantage.  Binghamton has knocked off the Hawks in the last two meetings that were played at the Events Center.

Following tonight's game the Bearcats hit the road for two straight contests.  Binghamton plays at Vermont on Saturday at 2 PM and then travels to Albany next Wednesday..
