The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team hosts long-time rival Albany.  Binghamton is 2-8 in America East and tied with UMBC for eighth place in the conference.  The Great Danes are in second place with an 8-2 record and 19-6 overall.

Albany defeated the Vermont Catamounts 75-71 on Saturday night. The Great Danes are riding a four-game winning streak and are 3-2 in America East road action.  Binghamton fell to New Hampshire on Saturday 59-55

Albany has won the last 11 games versus Binghamton.and owns a 17-13 advantage in the Division I series.  The two schools have been rivals since 1948.  Overall the Great Danes own a 66-31 edge.

Albany is lead by Peter Hooley who is averaging 13.3 points per game and Evan Singletary who is hitting at a 13 point per game  average.  The Bearcats' top gun is Willie Rodriguez who is averaging 14.2 points per game which is fourth best in America East.
