The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team plays their final regular game of the season today(Saturday) versus the Maine Black Bears at the Events Center at 2 PM (145 air on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  A win would put the Bearcats in sixth place in America East heading into the post-season.

Prior to the game Binghamton's two seniors will be honored.  Marlon Beck II and John Rinaldi will be playing their final game at the Events Center. Both have been outstanding leaders and brought a solid work ethic with them whether in practice or in game competition.

As team captain Beck has been superb.  During this season he entered the 1,000 point club for his career and also has emerged as the program's all-time three-point scoring leader. Rinaldi has been a momentum changer for the Bearcats.  Usually acting as the Bearcats sixth man he has made huge differences in many games.  His aggressive defensive play has been a key for the Bearcats and his ability to handle the ball has helped when the Bearcats have struggled with turnovers and sloppy play.

Following the game versus the Black Bears Binghamton will play a quarterfinal playoff game on the road on Wednesday. Where that will be has not yet been determined.
