Bearcats Hit the Road

The Binghamton Bearcats men's and women's basketball teams were on the road for America East games.  The men werre in Bangor, Maine for their game against the Maine Black Bears.  The women were in Burlington, Vermont to tackle the Vermont Catamounts.

The men defeated the Black Bears in January 65-46 at the Events Center.  Maine came into the game 1-9 while the Bearcats were 3-7.  Binghamton won two of its last three with the only loss in that span a 62-61 contest to Hartford at home on February 3.  The Black Bears dropped a 68-49 decision at Vermont earlier.  Binghamton led the overall series 15-14.

In Burlington the Bearcats women's team hoped to complete a season sweep of the Catamounts.  Binghamton won their home game against the Catamounts on January 10 by a final of 73-62.  Coming into The February 7 game, the Bearcats were 2-8 in America East action while the Catamounts were 0-10.
