The Binghamton Bearcats are heading down the stretch of the America East regular season in soccer.  Tonight the BU women visit UMass Lowell to meet the River Hawks in a 6 PM start.  The Bearcats are 2-3-1 in the America East.  UMass Lowell is 1-5 in conference play.

The Bearcats have one home game left. That is set for this Sunday against Vermont at the Bearcats Sports Complex.  The Catamounts are 2-3-2 and one point ahead of BU in the standings. Binghamton is currently in seventh place versus America East competition.  The top six teams qualify for post-season play.

Next up for the BU men is UMBC at the Bearcats Sports Complex Saturday evening at 6.  Last night at Columbia the Bearcats gave -up the game -winning goal with just :12 left.  Antonio Matarazzo notched the game-winner for the Lions.  The loss snapped Binghamton's three-game unbeaten streak.

UMBC leads the America East standings with a 3-0-1 record and is ranked in the nation's Top-10  in three different polls. Binghamton is fourth in the America East with a 1-1-2 conference slate.  Following the Bearcats home game Saturday BU will travel to New Hampshire on November 2nd and then close out the regular season by hosting Albany on November 6th.
