The Binghamton Bearcats have a busy Saturday planned as they team up with the St. Baldrick's foundation to fight childhood cancers.  St. Baldrick's Foundation, dedicated to helping in the fight once again teams up with Bearcats' athletics to raise money for the cause.  Last year over $13,000 was raised and pledges already have surpassed that amount for this year.

As part of the day St. Baldrick's, Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, Residential Life and Alpha Phi Omega have recruited dozens of individuals who will get their heads shaved for donations in their name.  Last year over 100 participated in the "shavee" event.

At Noon tomorrow the BU softball team begins play in a doubleheader vs Maine.  At 1 PM the men's lacrosse team hosts Hartford and also at 1 PM the baseball team opens play at its newly renovated baseball stadium.
