The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team is headed to Albany for a Saturday night game against the Great Danes. The game is set for a 7:00 P.M. start at the SEFCU Arena. The Great Danes are off to an uncharacteristically poor start and are 2-5 in America East and 7-15 overall. Binghamton is 2-5 in conference play and 6-16 overall. The game completes the first half of America East play.

The teams have been long-time foes dating back to Division III days. Over all three divisions of play the Great Danes hold a 70-32 edge. Since both turned Division I Albany has a 21-14 edge. The SEFCU Arena has not been a kind site for BU teams. Albany has won eight straight there and the Bearcats are 9-32 there.

Both teams have struggled after losing key players. The Bearcats have been without standout Thomas Bruce with concussion issues all season. Albany lost two standouts who transferred to higher profile schools. All-Conference America East guards Joe Cremo and David Nichols are playing elsewhere after transferring. Cremo is at Villanova while Nichols is at Florida State.

Saturday night's game will be aired on News Radio 1290 WNBF. Coverage begins at 6:45 P.M. om News Radio 1290 WNBF.
