Bearcats Clobber Sacred Heart

The Binghamton Bearcats wrestling team clobbered Sacred Heart Sunday afternoon at West Gym by a final score of 38-4 to complete a big weekend. Saturday the Bearcats dominated Ithaca College with a 36-6 victory.

The Bearcats earned nine victories versus Sacred Heart. Binghamton picked up a pair of pinfall wins. Jesse Dellavecchia earned his at 149 pounds and Anthony DePrez did the same at 165 pounds. Jack McKeever earned a 12-4 major decision.

With the weekend sweep Binghamton ups its overall record to 9-5 and with Sunday's victory over Sacred Heart the Bearcats are 5-3 in the Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association.

Next on the schedule for Binghamton is a Friday showdown with American University at West Gym. The first match is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
