The Florida Gulf Coast Eagles were too much for the Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team Wednesday night as they defeated BU 69-53.  The loss puts Binghamton's record at 3-3 while the Eagles move to 2-3.  It was the first ever meeting between the two schools on the hardwood.

Binghamton's only player in double figures was Dusan Perovic who scored 12 points. Bobby Ahearn and Fard Muhammad each scored six points for the Bearcats. Binghamton shot 39 percent from the field and just 17 percent (3 -18) from three-point range.  The Bearcats were once again without last season's leading scorer Willie Rodriguez and forward Justin  McFadden, both sidelined with injuries.

The Eagles had three players score in double figures with Christian Terrell leading with twelve points.  Antravious Simmons and Rayjon Tucker each scored ten points for the winners.

The Bearcats play another game at Florida Gulf Coast on Thanksgiving night at 7:00 PM as they tackle Long Beach State.  Airtime for the game is 6:45 on News Radio1290 WNBF.
