The Binghamton Bearcats softball team fell to the Albany Great Danes today (Saturday) at the Bearcats Sports Complex by a final score of 6-4.  With the loss the Bearcats season comes to an end.  The Maine Black Bears handed Binghamton a 3-0 loss on Friday to send the regular season champions into an elimination game bracket.

Albany, a third-seed, faces second-seed Maine in a 1:00 PM game this (Saturday) afternoon.  If the Black Bears win that game they claim the conference championship and get an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.  Should Albany win the two would meet again Sunday at noon to decide the crown.
