The Binghamton Bearcats meet the Vermont Catamounts on the hardwood this afternoon.  The men meet at the Events Center at 2:00 P.M while the women tangle at Patrick Gymnasium in Burlington also at 2:00 P.M.  The women's game will be broadcast on CBS Sports Radio 1360 AM while the men will be heard on News Radio 1290 WNBF.

Both BU teams are coming off of victories over the UMass Lowell River Hawks. Coach Bethann Shapiro Ord's team defeated the River Hawks on Wednesday 58-53.  Kai Moon scored 19 points to lead the women to the win.  On Thursday night in Lowell Tommy Dempsey's team topped the River Hawks 81-66 with four Bearcats hitting for double figures.  Freshman Sam Sessoms scored 21 points with Caleb Stewart notching 18 more.  J.C.Show had another big scoring night with 17 points and Timmy Rose hit for 11 more to spark BU's offense off the bench.

BU's women's team comes into today's game with an America East record of 6-7 while the Catamounts are 7-7 and in fifth place in the conference.  On the men's side the Bearcats are 4-8 in America East and in seventh place.  The Catamounts are the conference leaders at 11-2 and are coming off of a 65-56 loss at UMBC on Thursday night.
