The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team continues its visit to Florida as they meet the Panthers from Florida International University Sunday night at 7:00 PM (air at 6:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  It will be just the second time the two teams have met.

Last season FIU topped the Bearcats at the Events Center 66-49.  BU played in the Florida International Holiday Tournament in 2004 but did not face the host team. The Bearcats dropped a 67-63 contest to Ohio University and then defeated Colgate 65-61 in the consolation game.

Binghamton hopes to ride Thursday night's 72-64 win over Long Beach State to another road victory.  The Bearcats were led by Dusan Perovic's 21 point effort along with another 21 point effort from J.C. Show.  Yosef Yacob had his most productive game of the season scoring 15 points and going 3-3 from three-point range.

The Panthers are 2-4 after defeating Ave Maria earlier this week 89-72.  They are members of Conference USA.  Sunday night's game will be broadcast on News Radio 1290 WNBF with air at 6:45 PM.
