The Binghamton Bearcats meet the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles tonight (Wednesday) in Fort Myers, Florida at 7:00 PM (6:45 air on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  This is the first ever meeting between the two teams.  The Eagles are 1-3 after a controversial loss at Michigan State over the weekend.  The final ended up 78-77 in favor of the Spartans.  In the closing 1.6 seconds with the Eagles inbounding the game clock began before the ball was touched causing a missed shot and a tough ending.

The Bearcats are playing their second game in as many nights after crushing Ave Maria 95-77 on Tuesday night. Bobby Ahearn scored a career high 27 points and pace five Binghamton players who scored in double figures.  The win puts the Bearcats at 3-2.

Following tonight's game the Bearcats stay at Florida Gulf Coast to meet Long Beach State tomorrow (Thanksgiving night) in another 7:00 PM start.  BU concludes its Florida trip with a contest against Florida International on Sunday evening.  Binghamton's next home game is against Mansfield State next Wednesday, November 30th.
